Consulting Magazine US has highlighted Fifty Thousand Feet welcoming two seasoned leaders to the team: Doug Gallow, Managing Director, and Mark Smeraglinolo, Senior Vice President of Finance. These leaders will play a crucial role in ensuring that agency operations scale seamlessly to meet the demands of Fifty Thousand Feet's accelerated growth and global expansion.

Fifty Thousand Feet Expands Executive Team

Brand transformation consultancy adds Doug Gallow as Managing Director and Mark Smeraglinolo as SVP of Finance.

Fifty Thousand Feet, an independent global brand consultancy and creative agency has announced key executive hires to meet the growing demand of global clients while fortifying the firm’s operations.

Doug Gallow, Managing Director, Fifty Thousand Feet

Doug Gallow, managing director, will drive client and new business growth across the agency, with a focus on client work originating in the U.S. A seasoned executive with nearly 15 years of strategic brand consulting experience, Gallow started his career at Ogilvy. He has spent the last years rising the ranks at VSA Partners, where he was most recently Associate Partner, leading teams to deliver integrated brand experiences for clients including Kohler, Morningstar, UBS and AbbVie.

Mark Smeraglinolo, Senior Vice President, Fifty Thousand Feet

Mark Smeraglinolo joins as senior vice president, finance. Smeraglinolo has 20 years of experience, spanning both public accounting and private industry roles. For the last three years, Smeraglinolo worked in agency leadership roles including vice president, controller at 3Q Digital (now DEPT). He started his career as an audit manager at Deloitte and director of accounting at The Duchossois Group and is a certified public accountant (CPA).

Gallow and Smeraglinolo, both based in Chicago, will report to Jim Misener, CEO, Fifty Thousand Feet.

The news comes on the heels of recent growth momentum at Fifty Thousand Feet. In September, the firm added Turner-Duckworth veteran Moira Seymour as Managing Director, London, to serve an expanding roster of global clients. Fifty Thousand Feet first announced its London office in May of this year, which was followed by an investment from Erie Street Growth Partners to support the strategic growth of the firm’s offerings, operational infrastructure and geographic footprint, in response to increasing client demand for brand transformation in a digitally transformed world.
