Mark Smeraglinolo

Chief Financial Officer

Biography

As the Chief Financial Officer at Fifty Thousand Feet, Mark leverages his expertise in M&A and a passion for data analytics to drive the agency’s growth. “The combination of people and work product here is very powerful,” he said, “and my role is to help position us to be successful across the growth journey.”
Beginning as an external auditor for Deloitte, Mark developed a deep interest in getting under the hood and understanding what makes a company tick, and he’s fascinated by the way major changes can come from the steady aggregation of small, strategic actions. Throughout his career, Mark has supported private equity sponsored portfolio companies and translated financial insights into business improvements.
At 3Q Digital (now part of DEPT), Mark gained an appreciation for and interest in the creativity, strategy, and management skills needed to succeed and thrive in the industry.
Born an East Coast native, Mark attended the University of Notre Dame, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy. He also met his future wife, Becky, a Chicago-area native who persuaded him to embrace the Midwest. Mark and Becky, a pediatrician, live with their three children in the suburbs, where kids’ sports and activities are a daily ritual, and Fighting Irish football is a way of life.
